Giovanni Distefano

Assistant Professor of [GEO/10]
Membership Section: Earth Sicnce section

Researcher in Solid Earth Geophysics (SSD Geo/10) at the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences Section of the University of Catania. He deals with the study of the seismicity of the Etna area and the relationships between seismic and volcanic activity of Mount Etna. He deals with the study of geophysical precursors for earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. He collaborates with researchers from the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology. Professor of Laboratory of Seismology of the Master's Degree Course in Geophysical Sciences of the University of Catania. Professor of Earth Physics Laboratory of the Degree Course in Geological Sciences of the University of Catania.
