The course has the declared objective of providing adequate knowledge and understanding regarding the most important genetic processes of minerals used in industry and minerals of economic interest with particular reference to those of southern Italy.

Required Prerequisites
No propaedeutics. The student must have basic information on petrographic mineralogy

Mandatory in accordance with the Degree Course regulations
Detailed Course Content
Classification of deposits; sedimentary genesis deposits (petrology and examples), magmatic genesis deposits (petrology and examples); the hydrothermal process; hydrothermal genesis deposits (petrology and examples) metamorphic genesis deposits (petrology and examples).
