Associate professor at the Department of Biological, Geological and Enviromental Sciences (DBGES) – University of Catania (Italy) (since 2021).

National scientific habilitation to full professorship in the sector 04/A1 - Geochemistry, Mineralogy, Petrology, Volcanology, Georesources and Applications (2021).

1993: Master Degree in Geology (summa cum laude), University of Catania
