Objective of the ProjectThe project regards the counteracting of the introduction, naturalization and spreading of invasive alien species (IAS) that damage natural and seminatural environments in Sicily and in the Maltese Archipelago.

Research activity in the field of study of Zoology: systematics, faunistics and biogeography.

Current activities:·

- Scientific research activities and scientific article elaboration (intended for publication in indexed journals) in collaboration with other Authors

- 2020 – Today. Co-supervisor of: 3 graduate students of the Bachelor Degree in Environmental and Natural Sciences.

- 2020 – Today. Review activity of: 2 Bachelor Degree Thesis in the zoological field (Degree in Environmental and Natural Sciences).

- 2019 – Today. Support of: 4 trainees during laboratory activities in the field of study of systematic zoology, faunistics and biogeography of tardigrades.

- 2019 – Today. Collaboration in carrying out didactic laboratories of the discipline “Laboratory of Zoological Methodologies”.
