After the Master’s degree in Geophysics and a period as a research fellow in Vulcanology, SU started designing and managing research projects for the Volcanology Research Group and Marine Geology Laboratory of the University of Catania. After a period as an expert consultant in R&I and project management, today he’s project manager for the University of Catania. His research activity focuses on different geophysical aspects of earth sciences, is mainly focused on Geothermal Energy, Volcanology, and Marine Geology.
