The research activity of the PhD focused on the study of natural compounds and biopolymers for the development of innovative dressing devices, in order to accelerate the wound healing process. In particular, the project aims to create a skin substitute based on collagen and hyaluronic acid, promoting cell proliferation and angiogenesis. The effects were evaluated through in vitro tests.
