Teaching activities
The Ph.D. programme offers a wide range of educational activities. The Academic Board plans courses and seminars of high scientific value every year, held by teaching staff from the Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences Department, as well as from other Italian and international universities and research institutes. These are designed to enrich the education of Ph.D. students through an integrated and interdisciplinary approach. At the end of the three years, every Ph.D. student must have acquired 18 university credits (CFU): 12 from the courses organised within the Ph.D. programme and 6 freely chosen by the student, agreed with tutors and authorised by the Academic Board.
