Expected Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course students will be able to use English at a A2/B1 level of CEF. Besides, they will be also able to use some geologically specific lexis and structures

Thre course in on-site. Some activities might be through and with digital tools.

The Course will start with a test and a needs' analysis questionnaire

Detailed Course Content

Students will be engaged in reading activities. Texts will be related thematically to the Degree Course. Oral production will also be practised.

Textbook Information

Students can use any grammar book they have. 

For those who don't have a grammar boo: Murphy, Raymond, Essential Grammar in Use Elementary, Cambridge: Cambridge University Press.

Further resources and materials will be provided during the lesson and also uploaded on the website.

Learning Assessment

Learning Assessment Procedures

Students will be assessed throughout the course. At the end of the course written and/or oral exams will evaluate their language competence also with reference to their scope of study
