The course will focus on activities and teaching methods designed to consolidate the four fundamental skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to enable communication at a B1+/B2 level according to CEFR criteria. Particular attention will therefore be paid to the microlinguistic aspects of experimental biology and specific scientific vocabulary to facilitate the acquisition of language skills relevant to the field of study.
Required Prerequisites
Knowledge of the English language at level B1 of the CEFR).
Attendance of Lessons
Attendance at English language lessons is highly recommended.
Detailed Course Content
The course is structured in two phases. The first part will focus on revitalizing and consolidating grammatical and communication skills through lectures and workshops. The second phase will focus on reading comprehension exercises for specialized scientific texts and the ability to review and present texts (speaking) using specialized language at a B1/B1+ level relevant to the course of study.

Assessment of communication skills acquired through an oral interview on general topics (general conversation) and the presentation of a specialized text (reading comprehension) taken from the relevant scientific literature.
