The student will learn: 1) the meaning of the geological data; 2) methods for numerically and graphically description of geological data; 3) the statistical approach to geological data; 3) the meaning of measurement errors.
The student will also acquire the skills to carry out simple statistical calculations even with the use of spreadsheets
