LABORATORY OF FLORA
The research concerns the history of botany (especially Herbaria and Botanical Gardens) and Mediterranean flora, with particular regard to the family Orchidaceae. The floristic, vegetational and taxonomic studies have led to the description of some species new for the science and to considerations on the cariology, taxonomy, ecology and distribution of critical or dubious species of the same family.
