2015 - 2018: Ricercatore PostDoc - Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, Basovizza (Italy). Utilizzo di microtomografia computerizzata ai Raggi X con luce di Sincrotrone e di tecniche di analisi di immagine 3D per lo studio tessiturale di materiali geologici.

2012: Visiting Graduate Researcher - University of Hawaii at Manoa, Department of Geology and Geophysics, Honolulu (HI, USA). Esperimenti di cristallizzazione indotta da decompressione su fusi riodacitici naturali provenienti dal vulcano Aniakchak (Alaska, USA). Studio dei campioni prodotti mediante caratterizzazione petrografica e analisi SEM-EDS.

2010: Visiting Graduate Researcher - Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia di Roma. Analisi SEM-EDS ed EMPA di campioni di lave e dicchi Etnei. Caratterizzazione petrografica e determinazione delle Crystal Size Distribution.
